Get Ready With Me + ShopMarkkit
Categories: Makeup Tutorials

Get ready with me videos are so much fun! Sidebar: am I the ONLY one who initially thought GRWM was some type of reference to Beyonce Grown Woman? I know, I am strange. I get it now. GRWM is supposed to be an acronym for Get Ready With Me. I should have known better, the Army loves to use acronyms for every damn thing! Ha!

Anywho, I did this makeup look because I’ve been dying to create something using this gel liner I got from MakeupGeek. It’s called Fame, and it’s gorgeous and super pigmented. Actually, ALL of her gel liners are phenomenal!!! I have about 6 of them.

Oh, and rather than choosing one outfit I featured three! I took the same two pieces and recycled them into a few different outfits. Which one is your favorite?romper

romper

Does look one look familiar at all? This was the teal romper I featured in my Valentine’s Day lookbook earlier this year. It looks super chic paired with my floral kimono from La’BellaCouture.

Overalls

Look two | WHAT is that, are overalls making a comback?! Why yes, yes they are and they are coming back with a vengeance. I am gagging over some of these denim of denim looks with overalls. Aren’t convinced yet? Peep Zendaya Maree killing it in this look with a pair of H&M Overalls.

Anywho, so I took the floral kimono and paired it with the overalls and added a simple black tee from Forever 21 and black combat boots.

Look three are the overalls reincarnated but this time a bit more conservative with a cardigan from ShopMarkkit. I love love love this cardigan but of course by the time I posted this video the heat wave of Los Angeles struck and now I am dying of heat and boob sweat as I type this. But I still plan on rocking this on the cooler evenings!

Lovely look! The makeup is gorgeous, per usual! What color is the Black Opal concealer stick?

I love your first outfit! It’s flamboyant, flirtatious, comfy all at once. You can wear it out with your man all day and finish off the evening in the bedroom… Wink, wink!

The third outfit is just plain cute and youthful. One would expect someone as young as a teen out and about. The diva makeup and big hair are really out of place with such a casual vibe going on. Maybe a pony and a slick of gloss would be better?
